Display feels the same, battery life is not much of an improvement, and glitches are happening everywhere, but that might just be ios26. All in all, coming from the 15 pro max, it’s no different other than the color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your upgrade experience. We understand the disappointment when an upgrade appears to offer little more than a change in color rather than meaningful improvements. It can be frustrating when you upgrade expecting noticeable changes, but the experience feels very similar to your previous device, especially when you’ve invested in something new. While some of the glitches may be related to iOS 26, we can look into possible updates or optimizations to improve performance and battery life, so you can get the most out of your device.
Here are some steps you can follow and see if it helps:
1.Updating iOS to the latest available patch. 2.Resetting settings (without erasing data). 3.Limiting background app refresh to improve battery performance. 4.Recalibrating the battery with a full drain and recharge cycle.
We hope these measures help improve your experience. You may also submit your feedback directly to Apple Support at https://support.apple.com/. Your input is valuable and contributes to enhancing the overall user experience.
I really like the phone but the battery doesn't last as long as my 13 pro max. I use a couple of gps apps this time of year for my outdoor activities and while im using the apps my battery drains very quickly. I traded my 13 pro max in so I'd have longer battery life since it was old but now I wish I would've waited.
