I recently upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and after using it for a few weeks, I’m genuinely impressed with what Apple has done with this model. The phone is noticeably faster than my previous device. Apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and the overall performance feels more efficient.
The new camera system is excellent. The low-light improvements are very noticeable, and the zoom quality is much clearer than older models. I’m not a photographer by any means, but the photos come out sharp and detailed without much effort on my part.
Battery life has also been strong. I can go through a full day of regular use — calls, emails, light browsing, and some video — without needing to recharge. The standby time is much better too.

Just sharing an honest experience. I've had about 3 instances where my geolocation services would not work with any app at all. This occurred while I was driving and would usually last from 2-4 minutes. At one point, my phone simply restarted on its own after going this this. I am well aware that some of my apps are set to always allow with location services. But rest assured, all else works well. It is just alarming to lose location services while on the road.

Really hate that you gatekeep colors for the iPhone. For the fist time in over a decade I will be looking at androids for my next phone. The phone has minor upgrades but looking at the lack of choices to color is just annoying. I want to be happy when I look at a phone I spent so much on but someone at Apple decides that only certain versions get certain colors. Your phones hardware isn’t enough of an upgrade that people feelings about the phone won’t make the difference.
