Perfect for taking notes in class

One of my best tech purchases. The battery last for almost 1 week with my consistant usage. I'm in CS and I love to use this laptop to take notes in class. I use stack edit to take my notes in markdown and math notes in latex, it works perfectly. I also have a desktop computer to do my coding assignments on. (although you can download a linux distribution on this chromebook you probably wouldnt be left with much space to download anything else.

Wouldn’t recommend. Doesn’t have good features, if you’re looking for a good laptop... stick with windows. this laptop doesn’t even have a copy and paste feature without pressing 3 buttons at once. not my preference. but if you like basic and don’t care about good features this may be for you. only food thing about it was that it really fast, the screen quality isn’t good, and the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop you have to life it to really hear it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chromebooks are not good

I got this Chromebook for school and it is not good. I mean if you're looking for a laptop do not choose a Chromebook they are slow and if you are trying to game on this thing you can't even play basic games like Minecraft or even download steam but now that adobe flash player is down its basically useless for gaming. one other thing that makes me mad is you can't even print on these things you have to send it to another device via email (if you have one) and then print it on there. I also don't recommend a Chromebook for a lot more reasons but I can't fit them on here. please do yourself a favor and don't choose a Chromebook

Lightweight but basic

This chrome book is good. It is lightweight and functional for basic use. However, the description is deceiving. It does not have two USD-A and two USB-C ports... it has only one usb-a which makes it difficult for frequent use. I cannot connect a Display. You have to get expensive adapters if you want to be able to connect more than one usb device i.e. mouse, usb etc.
For basic use, it's fine but I wanted to use it for work and cannot connect a monitor. help!
