[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a deal that resulted in a purchase just under $1000 before tax. Chassis is sufficiently rigid, with minimal creaking when held from a corner. Opening it up was easy enough using a plastic guitar pick-style lid-opener, but metal ones damaged the plastic. Replacing the realtek wifi card was made extremely difficult because the screw was over-tightened, but I imagine it is rarely this bad. With everything put together the machine runs really well. Definitely the most power you'll get at this wattage for x86. The keyboard is really nice, as should be expected from a thinkpad.

It was okay. I sent it back because it needs a better SSD and a different WiFi chip, the realtek one is really bad and kept dropping wifi; the Intel is much better. These are too fragile with the clips to get open and work on, should really redesign the back cover. The laptop feels well made though. The backlit keyboard is okay but still pretty hard to see the tops of keys.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The one major problem I've had so far is that out of the box libreoffice would constantly crash (and sometimes force a reboot). The fix is to go into Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View and untick the box "Use Skia for all rendering".

Very fast, has long battery life and quick charge when charging. Compact and easily portable!!! Thanks Lenovo for making such a great product!!! For work, school, streaming, coding, multi tasking, Ryzen 7 Pro is the way to go. Intel can’t even come close to multi tasking like this processor can!! Will recommend to anyone and everyone!!!
