[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop, very light and fast. I hope it lasts a long time and love the 14 inch model. Sign in is done with camera which makes sign in much faster. Battery time is ok but wish it could be a bit longer as it usually is 5 hrs and this is brand new.

Got the 16GB 5850 with 400 nits low power screen. My first new laptop ever.
I am upgrading my main computer from X270 i7. I thought this was going to be a blazing fast machine, but really, it isn't.
For multicore stuff, yes, it is almost as fast as my dual Xeon E5 2960 server, but for regular day use, this isn't impressive at all.
I am using it for work, not gaming, so can't say how it is. I added another 16GB of memory, so I have enough for what I need.
The screen is nice, but I like the keyboard better on the X270. There is another button as well, since Insert has gotten its own key. I can't get used to it.
I have several X250, X260 and X270 that all share the same docking stations, so very seamless to switch projects. Now I have to invest in new docks for home and work.
The laptop is not lagging, but it just isn't super fast either. Maybe the new Intel version would feel faster as it has a faster single core score.
I guess the processors have hit some kind of plateau and aren't going to be getting much faster.
Had I had the chance to test the laptop before buying, I would have probably not have gotten one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Lenovo for both business and pleasure, and this sleek little member of the family is no exception. Does everything I need it to do. The only drawback I see is the inability to upgrade the RAM, or replace it easily if it fails (it's soldered in). But 16gb is plenty for what we usually do with it. But for the price I paid, I'm not complaining!
