[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is indeed a very reliable laptop. Feels really smooth and light plus an amazing battery life. However, the webcam could use a bit of improvement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible. Hangs a lot. This laptop has had so many problems its comical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop appears to work well with Windows. Unfortunately, I want to use it with Linux, and the wireless chipset is so bleeding edge that I would have to compile my own kernel to be able to use it. The only way to get the wireless card to work under Linux right now appears to be to install a sketchy third party driver, which is very disappointing -- I thought Lenovo laptops would have better Linux support! I was able to get this to work, but I expect most regular users would be extremely baffled by the problem.
From a Linux users perspective the T14 Gen 2 AMD still has some minor bugs with the latest Linux kernel and bios. The USB ports power cycling does not work correctly and you're better off disabling the USB autosuspend in the kernel. The Realtek wifi card also requires proprietary drivers to work.
The laptop's fine, no better or worse than any other laptop in the same price range. The keyboard's fine, the build quality's fine, the screen is fine. Nothing to recommend it over any other brand, not much different about a Thinkpad overall. But purchasing from lenovo signs you up for endless spam, and every attempt to unsubscribe from one just leaves other streams of lenovo spam coming in. Newsletters, ads, surveys, requests to review. Dealing with lenovo is not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything is good except for Booting Delay (Lenovo logo) Sometimes booting not delay, sometimes booting delay.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the T14 has been able to handle academic work in Covid times quite well--journal paper just submitted and no crash! I was not sure at first due to online reviews elsewhere but honestly I feel strongly in control without the bloatware and with the business-style lenovo vantage. AMD also has a nice hardware monitoring system that helps me keep track of heat and other potentials.
