amazing phone

this is a great and amazing phone, just want to know how to upgrade to android 12???
I live in Canada, and want to update this phone. apparently other tcl pro 5g already have android 12 but i cant get the update.

Great cell to own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cell, TCL 20 Pro 5g and I love it. The pictures are Great, lets you pick from a number of options. The battery life is amazing, lasts a full day and more. I do charge it overnight and try to charge it only when 20 to 30% to shave the battery which is stated in PC Magazine and other publications. You cannot go wrong buying this Cell Phone.

Best bang for your buck

I had the TCL 10 PRO and really liked it. Eventually had an issue with the USB input not being stable (probably my fault for overuse with Android Auto). But I really liked that phone cbs and this 20 PRO 5G is definitely an upgrade.
I really like the customizable smart key and power buttons on each side. The edge toolbar for quick access to apps, contacts and various other customizations also help to set the phone apart from the competition.
My only want is for a dual speaker setup. Other than that I plan on sticking with this phone for a while.

If You Don't Care About....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fine budget friendly device, that is if you don't care about the uncertainty of the Android 13 and or future security updates. A down firing loudspeaker that sometimes crackles and or sounds bad. limited customization of the sidebar size and color and a flat panel would've been better imo.
If you're used to a device with a high refresh rate and processing power then you'll be disappointed. I've been using my T-Mobile sim and I'm not impressed with the 5G performance, unfortunately this device doesn't support the 5G UC I'm used to but I actually had better dependability using it as a 4G device. Not a fan of the built in launcher or the included wallpapers as I use Nova launcher instead. Things I did like: Price, SD card option, smart button, IR remote. If you don't care about the mentioned issues then you'll be fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the TCL 10 PRO and upgraded to this 20 5G. Love both of them. This 5g model has the edge toolbar that I like. The customizable smart key. Double tap the power button to activate the camera. Face unlock and front fingerprint sensor.
Really like this phone I only wish it had dual speakers.
