Purchased the free-standing model for use in my Investment Advisory practice when travelling. I use it for both dual monitor productivity & client presentation applications. It works great for both. I have a 13.3" portable laptop that, while great for portability, is tough to work on for more than a few minutes at a time. Having the second screen makes this situation way better. A definite productivity enhancer. For client presentations, I am able to duplicate my screen and clients can move the monitor as close as they need to. Works perfectly and now I can get rid of the 15' HDMI cable I used to need to connect to TV's in conference rooms or a client's house. Would definitely recommend. The picture I posted is my work setup on the Amtrak between LA and San Diego.

Love my Solo HD 15.8. It has become an indispensable part of my travel kit. I'm an attorney, and I find this so helpful during depositions, client meetings, etc. I won't leave home without it.

I have enjoyed the set-up and clarity of this monitor. Great tool to enhance my work at home. Still trying to figure out how to navigate all the wires between docking station and monitor. And, the monitor is crystal clear.
