WFH just got better

I have a dual screen set up at my desk at home, but sometimes I just need to get out or work from the patio, or just not be at my desk. This dual screen allows for so much versatility without sacrificing productivity. I love it and it has improved my work life and daily enjoyment.

SIDE TRACK MONITOR

I am glad I purchased the side trak, it came with everything. Very easy to use. However it does come off the magnet occasionally. Attachment did come off laptop on one occasion but was quickly re-applied. I moved it from my right side to left and may get another, just have to figure out how I will attach it. overall satisfyed.

Easy installation, no software needed, lightweight, plug in and use! If you need two monitors for work, the Sidetrak swivel monitor is a must have for your on the go work experience. Can't imagine traveling without it. I can now effectively and efficiently work from anywhere!

The monitor itself is just fine. And the swivel mount is a great feature. But the details... 1) If the monitor is left mounted, the logo is upside down. Doesn't impair function, but looks ridiculous. Given there are instructions for left mounting you'd think they'd have taken that into account. 2) The cords are obnoxiously in the way. Not only does it require two separate cables (unless your laptop is newer and has a C port) but the plugs are on the outside edge. Meaning the cords run all the way behind the monitor, past the edge and loop back to plug in. They know this is a stupid arrangement because they warn the cables might interfere with the swivel... more thoughtful design could have prevented this. 3) But most egregiously, the adhesive on the mounting plate isn't up to the task of holding the weight of the monitor and it's dangling cables. After falling off 3 times endangering the device, I stripped the plate of it's adhesive and substituted my own. Seems to be holding so far.
