If you're debating purchasing this or not, definitely do it! I need two monitors from work and I just bought this so I can sit outside while working remotely"”it's a game changer! I should have bought it a year ago
One thing to consider is in the YouTube video, mention the set up cardboard that comes with in case people don't want to watch the YouTube video. That paper allows you to follow written instructions to attach.
I really love my SideTrak! The only thing is sometimes my laptop will switch the display arrangement of it after it goes asleep, so frustratingly so that it'll create a "ghost" screen where applications go but I can't retrieve. But overall, I now can't live without this screen when I'm traveling. HIGHLY recommend getting the carrying case. I was traveling with the screen on its own and it's hard to keep it protected. Plus TSA broke my connection cord trying to figure out what the screen was.
I have been using this monitor for a few months now. I rarely write reviews but this has been a game changer for me. I use this primarily in the car. I don't know if I agree that you could walk around easily with the monitor attached but I have used in the car and all day at the pool. Love it! :)
This is one of the best purchases I made during the WFH period. It's so nice for working from home (I am a younger professional and don't have a desk/space big enough for a large, stand alone monitor) and it is super helpful to have for when I leave home and work at other spaces. And when I return to the office, we've transitioned to dynamic work so I won't have a dedicated desk. Super simple and quick to set up. I took off a star for because: 1) I use a mouse and am right handed so having it only on the left is annoying. I was able to set it up on the left side but its technically upside down. 2) The cord is fragile and uncommon so be careful. If it breaks, you have to order it online - most stores don't carry this type. 3) Brightness levels could be increased (especially when I want to work outside).
