WORSE PURCHASE I EVER MADE

Purchased this machine in 9/2019. Had to send back to have it worked on twice. Thank God it was under warranty for 3 years. They even had to replace the tray, frother sliding plastic housing that slides up for no foam and down for foam and the grinder. Warranty just expired in 9/2022 and of course it is falling apart again. Needs gaskets replaced, the grind control knob made of cheap plastic broke off and I maybe have set the grind twice since I have owned the machine. The housing starting coming apart and this machine is never moved. I am bringing my 9 YEAR OLD BREVILLE BARISTA back home from the office in place of the LA SPECIALISTA. I have never had a problem with the Breville machine. Guess I will take the La Specialista to a small appliance repair to see if it is even worth fixing. If not, in the trash it goes. I love the look of it and was hoping it would last for more than 3 years. Quality in my opinion is really poor!

Thanks for 3 year warranty

I got this machine for xmas 2 years ago. Thankfully it came with a 3 year warranty, as Im having to send it back in for a 3rd time to repair the grinder as it is not dosing enough grounds into the portafilter. I have to run it 2+ times at max dose to get a full portafilter. If it werent for the crappy grinder, this machine would be great. I wish I'd bought a separate grinder and a Dedica instead....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once it's set up, it makes really delicious coffee--as long as you have good water and at least adequate beans. It really DOES get the best out of even average ingredients. I'm very happy with this coffee maker. The ONLY "con" is that the set up takes some time and attention--and you ARE going to waste some ground coffee getting it set up. Really, very VERY happy with this machine.
I don’t have much complaints about my espresso la especialista machine.it’s great!but only one I’m not quite satisfied is that it’s loud especially the frother.I’m not sure if it’s designed to be like this or you can make it quieter because it really hurts my ear.
I recently bought this machine after wanting one for some time. I have used it every single day for weeks. I’m in love with it. There is definitely a period at the beginning with a lot of trial and error, but once you figure it out, it’s awesome
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good machine

After 3 months, we love this machine. Used it to replace an old fully automatic. It is easy to keep clean, fits on our counter and makes better coffee.
