My son and his wife have a set of Cuisinart knives. When I visit them I'm always amazed at how great these knives cut. In fact, I was so impressed by the quality that I ditched my knife set and ordered a Cuisinart set for myself. It even comes with a knife sharpener. I am super happy with my purchase and highly recommend Cuisinart knives.

I received these as a gift for Christmas and was in desperate need to upgrade my knives. I was pretty happy at first because the blades were nice and sharp, but after one use, they are all getting rusty! And it's not surface rust that I can easily scrub off, it's really deep and I'm unable to remove it. Really disappointed...

These knives were a good price, and they are sharp, so they work well. Unfortunately, they look cheap and ugly. Maybe we got a wonky set, but it's hard to imagine these getting through any sort of QC. Anyway, I expected plastic handles, but these are a mess. The scissors have decent handles that are a deep red with a bumpy texture, and they are somewhat shiny. The knife handles all have a smooth finish that can best be described as dull and with the appearance that they were scrubbed with 240 grit sandpaper and bleach. They look terrible. When I first opened them I thought maybe they just needed to be washer, but that wasn't the case. Very disappointing. I only give them two stars because they cut well, but probably should have bought the set with the stainless handles. I normally have great things to say about Cuisinart products, but not these. Bummed.
