The stove top burners need to be rearranged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our Kitchenaid range that was 24 years old. We purchased this Whirlpool 5.0 Cu. Ft. Gas Range with Frozen Bake Technology. So far I am please with how well the oven bakes and how the stove top heats. The only suggestion I have regarding this range is the stove top burner arrangement. There are two larger burners in the front then a small and medium burner in the back. We really feel that it would be safer to have one large and one small burner in the front and a large and medium burner in the rear. If we are boiling a large pot of water in the front, we have to reach over that to make eggs or something similar on the smaller burner in the back because the other burner in the front is too large and generates too much heat even on its lowest setting. We really believe that this arrangement was not very well thought out.

Design Flaw and faulty igniter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my old range better. I don't like the huge, heavy grates on top. Much more cumbersome to clean.
I am also having an issue with the igniter in the oven. It pops every time it lights and I can smell gas. I am considering calling a repairman to adjust it.

Love this gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the range a week, but I love it so far. I like the slide in with the controls on top and I'm happy to have 4 burners and one oven again. The settings are easy to use - I still haven't figured out the timer yet and initially accidently turned off the oven trying to use it - but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
