Works, but not via attached to my laptop

My experience matched what happened to another user (in a video). When the Trio screen gets close to my laptop, everything seems to shut down. Both will work if the screen is on a stand, and separated. That wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted something that saves desk space.If you’re looking for a portable and lightweight duplicate screen on a table, this would work.

Easy to use - Happy with the quality

I love what this screen does for me. portable monitors need a place to sit and often I don't have a convenient means when I'm traveling or even in a vehicle. Even when I'm sitting at my desk, it's super easy with sightlines and functionality.Sometimes in the daylight I'd like to be able to turn the brightness up higher, but it's never been a problem.

Hinge broke after little more than a month of normal use

I love these monitors. I purchased two 12.5 inch Trios less than 40 days ago and have been using them for work ever since. They are easy to setup on my laptop and configure for used. The magnets don't appear to be strong enough to secure two monitors so some type of support under the added monitors is needed so that all three screens line up. It is a minor annoyance but from a functional standpoint, the monitors are effective tools for increasing productivity.HOWEVER, the hinge on both monitors has broken. When I try to rotate either monitor towards me from behind my laptop, they fail to rotate. It also looks like the end of the screen starts to become displaced from the edge of the plastic monitor housing. Both the monitor housing and the casing that provides the tracks that the monitor slides along appear to be made from very brittle plastic.

Makes Working from Anywhere as Productive as Working in the Office

My biggest complaint about working from home has been the fact that I've got to work out of the basement. Since we don't have a dedicated home office, that's the only space large enough to accommodate my desk, laptop, and two additional monitors that I've gotten used to using at work. Now, with the Mobile Pixels Trio, I can take my laptop anywhere I want (dining room, back porch, coffee shop, etc.) and be as productive as I am at a full desk!The screens were easy to install, and the perfect size for my 14" laptop. I love how portable they are, and that I can share one or both with my girlfriend. The screen picture quality is great, the build seems sturdy, and the plug-and-play usability was a breeze! I'm thrilled to be out of the basement and on the move with MobilePixels!

Great Concept but Not Quite �Right�

Pros:1. Nice packaging.2. Fast shipping.Cons:1. MacBook Pro (2017,15.6� screen) does not support use without a kick stand. Pulls the screen monitor backwards (it made me nervous it would damage my hinges)2. When the Trio Max is connected my MacBook runs REALLY hot; even when on a desk/lap desk.3. The Trio Max attaches to the front of your laptop with adhesive magnets that are permanently stuck to the front of your laptop/laptop case.4. The Trio Max screen quality is significantly worse than the MacBook Pro because: A) the screen used in Macs have the best tech; B) the Trio Max screen is smaller than my MacBook screen so the text/screen appears much smaller during use (the text is also very blurry). There are four resolution options but none of them improved clarity or minimized eye strain.5. The easy-slide function is not smooth It takes effort to slide the monitor out (and it squeaks)6. It�s BULKY. It makes my 2017 MacBook Pro (15.6� screen) at least three times thicker and heavier with the Trio Max attached.7. There are 4 different sets of set-up instructions. One on the lid of the box and three inserts. This made installation confusing.8. To use this monitor on a Mac you have to: A) download an application not authorized/available by Apple; B) delete MacBook driver and replace it with a new driver; C) change your privacy setting to allow 24/7 screen recording.

I love this product. It has helped me significantly with being more efficient and also makes it easy when on a zoom call and I don't want the 3rd party to see the information I am looking at - added privacy. Great ease to use and install.
