Huge time saver

I had been looking for an additional screen since I have been working from home. I had originally purchased the SideTrak, but after hours on the phone with them and IT at my workplace, I unfortunately couldn�t get it to work (also hated that it was smaller than my laptop screen). Then a few weeks later, I found this gem. I have a brand new MacBook, so I was able to plug in and use immediately, no calls with IT needed... bonus is this can be pulled out on the left or the right side and it�s the same size screen as my laptop. Huge win in increasing productivity. It does add some weight to the laptop, but nothing unmanageable.

Compact .light and very user friendly

My laptop has now adapted the way I work away from home allowed extended screen without lumping around a heavier display about .. compact. Light and it has adaptability to be mounted on left or right hand side of laptop...Fantastic ??

Easy set up - Amazing quality

This is an amazing product for these COVID19 times. I received it yesterday evening and within one hour I had it up and running on my company laptop. I bought two (2) of the Trio-Max monitors. This is truly a plug and play product. I did not have to buy any other adapters or download any drivers. Everything was in the box to hook up to the laptop. The only problem I had was minor and it had to do with the 2nd monitor. The screen was upside down. But I went into my settings and inverted the Landscape display and solved the problem quickly. 5 Stars to this product. Used it all day without a hitch.

This has been SO HELPFUL! It gives me the freedom to move around to different spots at home or to leave the house, even travel, and do my job just as effectively as I can with my normal dual-monitor setup at the office.

I delayed and delayed looking at a second screen solution for my laptop. I finally pulled the trigger with this one and I am not disappointed. Once you understand how to position it (the magnets are not meant to hold the screen up, but to attach the screen to the back of the laptop.) everything works like a charm. The screen has great color and clarity. Attaching and detaching it from your laptop is a breeze. It hooks up in literal seconds. I am very satisfied with this product!

A game changer for my laptop centric home office

I have now had the TrioMax (1 screen) for about 24 hours and I am thrilled. This is undoubtedly the best solution to add a screen to a laptop. Although I would like to see larger screens available for a 17" laptop, this makes for a critically needed second work area or a way to cross-reference multiple windows with multiple documents into a single work product. The set-up was very easy. There was a snag in which USB port to use and if you use the wrong one it will not start. Although I figured it out on my own I had sent a note to customer service at about 4 pm and had a response by 9 am the next morning (Pacific time). I admit I was and to a degree am concerned about durability of the screen hinge and frame, it is doing the trick. Perhaps the novel design permitting this set up is just too novel for me to judge. The quality of color and brightness is fine and although it is noticeably different from my 4K, glossy, 17" screen with advanced graphics processing, it is still very good and works for any office application except perhaps certain graphic arts. The On Screen Display offers enough control for most people. I do not like, however, the lack of clear icons to control the OSD. They are there but very hard to see and I have constantly missed the right place to press. Finally, although customer support is superlative, their included User Guide leave a bit to be desired. I would recommend to the company that a technical writer do their next version and be more comprehensive. Critiques aside, if you want the luxury of a second or third screen on your laptop (I am PC world), this is an awesome solution. I highly recommend

Great screen

I�d give it 5 stars if it was easier to set up. I got this for my work laptop and had to have the IT dept. remotely take over my account and set it up because I don�t have administrative rights. It took them 2 hours over 2 days to figure it out. That said, the instructions seemed really straight forward, so it�s entirely possible the IT people got it wrong. I have a friend who has this and she set it up in minutes by herself. Anyway now that it�s working life is good. It looks gray, is super easy to use and swim not flipping back and forth between screens to edit multiple documents. Since the pandemic hit I�ve been working from home at the dining room table in a small apartment, so I didn�t want a full size, stand up screen I'd have to unplug and find some place to store it every evening so we can use the table for dinner. Now I just slide the screen back, close my laptop and I�m done.
