Stove I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove is what I wanted and the bottom drawer could be of better heavier material it is tinny and hard to remove and put back. I wanted a self cleaning oven and one that had the knobs on top as well as a Whirlpool product. Best stove ever met all my wants.

Efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of my range! It was already installed when i bought the house, so I didn't have a choice. I am pleased with the burners on top and how easy it is to clean. The oven itself works beautifully. I would rather have had an oven with more options for cooking (convection, roast) but not a reason to rate the oven poorly!

Disappointed with Performance

I recently moved into a new home that came with a brand-new Whirlpool gas range, and I have to say, I’m extremely disappointed. Coming from a 12-year-old Samsung range, I expected at least the same level of quality, if not better, but this Whirlpool model falls short in so many ways.
First, the **baking performance is inconsistent**. Despite setting the same temperature and time as I did with my old electric oven, my baked goods and even simple dishes like homemade cottage cheese turn out completely different—softer, undercooked, and just not the same quality. It feels like the heat distribution is uneven, which is frustrating when trying to follow familiar recipes.
The **feature set is also lacking**. While my previous range had useful settings and better customization, this Whirlpool model is very basic, with limited cooking modes like "Bake," "Pizza," "Lasagna," and "Broil." I expected more advanced features from a 2024 appliance.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this gas range, especially if you’re used to high-quality electric or better-designed gas models. If I had the option, I’d replace it immediately. Whirlpool really needs to step up their game - this range feels outdated and poorly designed compared to other brands on the market.

Keep your old appliance more reliable

No gas flame in broiler

The broiler is electric, not a gas flame. There is no indication of this in any of the documentation, had I known I would not have purchased this model. Very deceiving to not disclose that. Also, drawer at bottom is very cheap & flimsy.
