Seriously disappointed!!

We built our home and purchased the washer and dryer in this model. I had never owned an Electrolux but had heard great things so we chose them vs. Bosch. Huge mistake! We have only had the pair for not quite 3 yrs & have been fighting the dryer for the last 6 mths. I went to look up my dryer by model # and it's not even available anymore. It is doing the same thing I keep reading about in the reviews... it continually shuts off while drying. It will not turn back on for at least 15-20 minutes. My husband has done everything except take the whole thing apart! He has tried all of the "trouble shooting" suggestions they give. Still doesn't work. I can't understand why Electrolux only offers a 1 yr warranty. I guess they have about as much faith in their product as I do. I haven't bothered to call them after I have read review after review that says they don't respond and never can get in touch with anyone. I am sure that I will be told that basically it's not their problem. Kicking ourselves for not getting the Bosch or a Maytag.

Works well, long dry times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dryer for about a month and it works well. Our only complaint is the dry times seem really long. Some of the times are over an hour without much flexibility.

Dry, not shrunk

Love this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just sold our home in California, and our laundry room was remodeled in early 2021. In the recent remodel we had purchased the Electrolux 600 series washer and dryer, stacking them for more room. I HATE doing laundry, but love love love this pair. When we sold our home and purchased a new place in Reno Nevada I was truly sad to leave them behind. Our new current home had a Samsung top loader washer and Samsung dryer set a year old…OMG..what a terrible difference.The Samsung twisted our clothes, and the dryer took forever to get clothes dry. I hated them. I went to our local high end appliance dealer, and purchased a new set of Electrolux 500s . I wanted the 600s but with the supply chain, they didn’t have them, so decided to get the 500s. Bottom line, I love them. There are subtle differences, but they clean and dry as well as the 600s. Our daughter and her family needed a new washer and dryer, so the Samsung pair went to them. Highly recommend the washers and dryers from Electrolux!!!
