great dryer easy to use

Energy Efficient - quiet, simple to use

Quiet, Efficient, and Worth the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these for our new apartment, and wanted something we could take with us when we move. Electrolux was recommended because they're made in the US, so we can get replacement parts easy and fix them ourselves when the warranty expires. It's been a great machine thus far! It's quiet and has a great energy efficiency rating. We haven't had the chance to try the steam feature yet. It's nice to have reversible doors on BOTH the companion washer and this dryer. Every once in a while (which isn't often), an article of clothing with a strap or loop (e.g. a swim suit with a shoulder strap) will get caught on the side of the lint filter due to the design. One time it was some jeans with a loose tag, and the dryer stopped because the jeans were wrapped up in all the other clothes and it was getting hard to turn. We appreciated that it was smart enough to stop before ruining the clothes! Other than than one design flaw, it's a great machine!

Good dryer: faulty design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer to replace a different companies dryer that I have having issues with. The only trouble I have with this dryer is that our socks and underwear keep getting stuck on top of the flat area above the lint filter. Why not redesign the door with a kick out so the clothes are deflected away from the lint filter?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize if your dryer has been making some unpleasant noises. It may be due to an unsteady base or objects inside the drum. I would recommend checking pockets of clothes for hard objects that may be knocking around, or running an empty cycle to see if the noise continues. You should also ensure that all four feet of the dryer are sitting firmly on the ground and do not allow for wobble. If the dryer is unbalanced, we would recommend contacting your installer to level it properly.
