Disappointing Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The automatic cycles are too long. It shouldn't take 90 minutes to dry jeans and towels. The lint filter is poorly designed and is a major problem. It is cumbersome to clean, and it doesn't seem to catch any more lint than my previous dryer that had a simple screen. In only a few months, the lint filter has come out twice during a cycle. Luckily we were home to hear the loud banging, but we weren't quick enough to stop the dryer before some underwear and socks got sucked into the exhaust fan. Two pairs of underwear were ruined because they got stuck in the fan and had to be ripped out. Electrolux needs to extend their warranty in regard to the lint filter, so that when it breaks or when it causes something else to break, we won't be stuck with a repair bill for the design flaw. The inside light should always be on when the door is open. The steam and refresh cycles work well. It is quiet.

Great drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our drier for about 3 weeks now and so far love it. The controls are very easy to use and it dries clothes to perfection on every setting. The steam option works well and we like that it’s piped in instead of having to fill up a container. Clothes come out not over dried and are pretty much wrinkle free. Really like the feature that will refresh your clothes that are left in the dryer for extended periods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer is only OK. I would not buy it again, except it is the only one, in any brand, that fits under my counter. The “heavy duty” cycle must be used for even small, lightweight loads, so it just isn’t very efficient.
