I'M SO HAPPY I CHOSE THE ELECTROLUX PERFECT STEAM DRYER! EVERYTHING COMES OUT SO SOFT. IT HAS CUT THE DRYING TIME DOWN TREMENDOUSLY. LOVE IT!!

We where not familiar with Electrolux Dryers. However, after researching them we decided to purchase one. We have not regretted it. This is an amazing dryer with many features. We are very satisfied with the Electrolux dryer & washer

Best Investment Ever!

I bought the washer and dryer about a month ago. I have been very reluctant to get a front load machine. I LOVE this machine! It's quite, the cycles are faster than my LG, the clothes are SOOO clean (I am a clean freak) and I love love love all of the cycles and the features! I wanted a cycle for my dedicates that didn't beat up my expensive clothes. This has it! The dryer is also amazing! The steam feature is awesome! Best Investment! Electrolux wins! A++++

Worst dryer I have ever owned

I need to preface this review by saying that I needed a washer that had the door hinge on the right. Electrolux was the ONLY brand to offer that. Secondly, I had chosen the 517 model. But when I ordered, it was no longer available. This 527 model is what the appliance store substituted for me.
There is about a 3” inch gap between the drum and the door, where the lint trap is located. This dryer is very effective at getting small clothing items stuck in that gap. If enough items get stuck, the dryer shuts off because it thinks the lint trap needs to be cleaned. I go to the laundry room, thinking the load should be dry, but find them wet..
Second complaint is that I need to dry each bed sheet in a separate load. If I don’t, the dryer will somehow tumble in a way that will wrap the fitted sheet completely around the flat sheet and pillowcases, creating a large ball of fabric that will not dry. How is that saving energy? I will be installing a clothesline to solve this problem.
If you make it this far in reading this review, I will say that I do like all the different cycles this dryer has. I have not tried the steam cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use and has nice features!

I have only good things to say about my new dryer. It is very easy to use. I don't like too many buttons or options (I tend to stay pretty basic) and this machine allows the flexibility to do either. It senses based on the load size and type how long to dry and I love that feature. It's very roomy and I love the lint filter (it's very substantial). I would recommend getting the pedestal for the bottom. I didn't and I think I will go back and get it. It would make the front loading at a better height. Definitely would recommend this dryer.
