Dryer Stopped Working Two Weeks After Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dryer was delivered on June 16th and by July 2nd, would no longer run. Repairman arrived today to say the heating element was collapsed and unattached. This should not happen in a brand new appliance. We now have to wait to weeks for a new heating element to be installed and feel we should be given a new dryer instead of wait for a repair.

Quiet and gentle on clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had gas dryers before this electric Electrolux. The dashboard and controls are clear, well lit and intuitive. The clothes do come out consistently dry and not much lint is produced, so it seems gentle on fabrics. Only downside, and it could be this is how electric dryers dry, the dry cycle for a full load is exceedingly long. You cannot be in a rush for these clothes. Other than that, happy with the quality and appearance, six weeks owned, about 1/week use.

We needed a dryer with specific dimensions and were happy to find a somewhat matching dryer for our existing Electrolux washer. I like the new door configuration. Very pleased with our choice.
