Electrolux Makes Dryers ?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer to replace a 13 year old Whirlpool Duet. Walking into the appliance store we didn't realize Electrolux made washers and dryers. We liked what we saw and after checking online reviews made the purchase. This dryer differs from any dryer we had in the past. The drum diameter is just slightly larger that the door diameter making the bottom of the door and the inside of the drum almost even. When drying clothes they come right up to the window of the door. Constantly. The lint trap is actually inset and curved to allow the clothes to pass over it. I believe the design makes more room by utilizing the door as dryer instead of just a loading port. Occasionally a small item will get stuck on the top of the lint trap but eventually gets pushed away by something else going around. The first load we dried we set the dryer to normal load, normal temp, normal dry level and auto time. After about 45 min. I checked on the load and it was still wet and just somewhat warm. After checking the book I found that this is the eco setting (a little leaf appears on the control dial). You must have time when using that setting!! I switched to normal setting, timed dry to get the job done. So far everything works as it should. My wife and I are very pleased with this purchase. We bought from a local appliance store because we like careful delivery and service after the sale. We usually steer away from big box stores for these kind of purchases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the drier for about a month now. It dries well, you have to adjust the setting to make sure it fits with the material of the clothes inside. It won’t overdry the cloths at all. Nice machine.
