Scented gasket?

There are so many things I love about this new washer, but something is puzzling me. There seems to be a scent emanating from the gasket of the door. Is the gasket made of rubber or silicon? Is some kind of scent embedded in the gasket? I’m not a fan of artificial scents. I would like for the scent to go away otherwise I love the washing machine.

Its 1' taller than advertised especially on the drawer pedestal. The Installation techs recommended not to take the foot pad off of washer/dryer combo. The Techs also installed a short dryer hose, But those items aside the items work as advertised.

New electrolux washer cleans well and is not nearly as noisy as old LG. I am disappointed in the speed wash factory settings, not able to change spin speed for delicates like old machine.

The Blue color sold me!

Frankly, I just needed a pair that was in stock with pedestals! But love the color and they work fine. I do see that the moisture in the washer seems to remain a long time unless I open the door after I finish washing.

Great machines!

We bought these units to replace an all in one unit we purchased last year. This was a great decision. The washer and dryer are efficient and work amazing. Our previous washer and dryer took far longer to wash and dry a load of laundry. We were always struggling to keep up with the accumulating dirty clothes. Not so any longer. So glad we made the switch.
