[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't be happier with my Electrolux - Front Load Perfect Steam washer with Luxcare. Not only does it do a fabulous job on my laundry... it's fabulous color, and design creates a decorative look that you don't get with many appliances.

Very slick

Second time is the charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought a washer dryer set. The first washer from day one had issues. It never filled up with enough water to even dissolve the laundry soap. This one was the replacement and was a step up model. It did take 12 washes for the machine to acclimate. It is doing a great job. I would recommend this model over the cheaper one. I especially like that you can put the pods in the pull out dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very first day we bought the washer it leaked. The leak was due to the seal not being secured and water was dripping out of the front. Other than that, it works fine so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has impressed the heck out of in the last few weeks. I had never owned an Electrolux product before; now I’m not sure I’ll trust anything else. I had no idea that a washer could be so silent. We turn it on and, other than the last few minutes, never even hear it running. It uses a third of the amount of detergent that our top load did and still finishes faster and cleaner. I love it.

Not sure about the very low water levels

I understand front loaders don't need that much water, but this machine uses so little water that I'm not confident about cleaning effectiveness. I washed a winter jacket with one of the complimentary Tide pods that came with the washer. The perfume smell from the detergent was so strong, I couldn't wear the coat. I washed it two more times with a non-scented detergent and I still couldn't get the perfume smell out. I had to take it to work where I have a commercial front loader that uses more water. Finally, I was able to rinse out the heavy perfume odor from the Tide. I'm concerned that if I ever have another piece of clothing with a strong odor will this machine be able to remove it when it uses so little water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We understand your concern with not seeing as much water in your washer. Some detergent can have a strong potent smell that can possibly cause you to do a few washes to alleviate the smell.
A full-size front load washer uses only 20 to 25 gallons. Front load washers always fill the the same low water level during the wash cycle no matter how many clothes are loaded into the washer. The water is added to the drum during the tumbling action of the clothes to rapidly saturate the clothes so that less additional water must be added; which is normal.
