Good except leaked

Two weeks after we bought the washer the front door leaked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm so happy with this washer. The large capacity drum has been great. My top load washer was so old I didn't know what I was missing. My clothes are actually cleaner!!

Great wash / not great spin

We chose this washer due to the energy efficiency features and the fact that it is the ONLY washer that can have the door reversed, which was key in our particular situation, and the door was correctly reversed upon delivery.
Things I love: Quiet, relatively quick cycles (most are under an hour, along with the quick cycle - 20 min). I like the digital interface - it is easy to use. Our clothes come out clean.

Things I'm not crazy about: I wish the defalt setting for the spin was "high" and not "medium" When you use the defalt settings, the clothes still have a significant amount of water in them. Every time we do a load, we have to remember to change the spin setting to "high" so that our clothes don't take hours to dry - kind of defeats the purpose of energy efficiency. A few times I swear I have chosen the high spin setting but the clothes have come out significantly wet. Maybe it was user error (I'm hoping that is the case and not that my brand new washer is already dying). I will continue to monitor and may update this review in a few months.
