I spent three weeks researching clothes washers after my beloved and irreplaceable l17 year old large capacity Bosch washer died. This Electrolux exceeded all my expectations for a new washer. In fact it is so quiet, it leans so well, and so fast that I wish I had bought it years ago. This is the best clothes washer I have ever owned!

Our first front-loading washer was a dud (not an electrolux). We switched back to a top loading, but it quit after 5 years. We are back to a much improved front-loading maching. It does a great job cleaning and the spin dry is awesome.

Cleans well, no interior light, can't hear end of cycle chime, off balance even if smaller load and checked and it is level

Hi, Jeab!
Thank you for sharing your feedback! The chime is set at a single volume, but you can mute/unmute by holding down the "select" button for 3 seconds. Small loads can clump together on one section of the tub during the spin cycle and cause it to spin unevenly. If your loads are unbalancing, try dispersing some items or adding some other garments of similar weight to the drum! We're glad this washer is otherwise working well for you. cycles are reversed as there is no soap during wash cycle-yes, I have sat and watched the whole process. have called Electrolux-their answers-do clean wash cycle-done-no difference-use white vinegar in rinse cycle-done-no difference. last time washed towels had to do 6 extra rinse cycles to get rid of soap-no water or energy saving there

I have used this washer enough times within the last month of owning it to determine that it is a good washer. It definitely uses way less water than my previous top load washer. HOWEVER, I am not entirely convinced that it does as good of a job at getting out stains as my top load washer did with an agitator...and may I add that I am talking about spaghetti type stains and watermelon/blueberry juice stains....probably the worse stains out there! On a positive note, I have found that when I select heavy duty with stain treat that it seems to do the job. Only downside to that is that the wash time is about 98 minutes which seems crazy long to me. Otherwise I absolutely love how quiet it is which is a huge plus for me and it is super easy to use. Although I do not use PODS, I like that is has an option specifically for them. Maybe when I use up the gigantic tub of detergent I have, I will buy some PODS and see if they do the job. Overall, I am pleased with this washer and we got it for an awesome price at our local appliance store.
We've had the washer for about a month and it is our first front loader. The wash cycles are simple and easy to adjust as needed. The washer is relatively quiet and does not vibrate much. Wiping down the door and gasket to keep dry isn't a big deal but the detergent dispenser always has a lot of water left in it. I am not sure how important it is to dry it out but doing so is a real pain in that you basically have to take the whole drawer out to do a decent job of it. It won't dry just by leaving it opened.
No suds during wash loaded with suds during rinse/extra rinse. Doing another rinse/spin no help as machine begins emptying process at 9 minutes of 12 minute cycle. Something is very wrong with this machine

DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX-JUNK WILL NOT RINSE PROPERLY-LAST LOAD TOOK 6 EXTRA RINSE CYCLES TO REMOVE SOAP

We apologize for any issues you have experienced with your washer, and thank you for bringing it to our attention!
Most of our consumers have found that, if you have been consistently using too much detergent, the washing machine will accumulate trace amounts inside creating an excess production of soapiness/suds.
A tip that can alleviate this issue is to perfrom a clean washer cycle using the steps in your manual, with the following link, https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Complete%20Owners%20Guide/English/A20448603en.pdf.
