Quiet, simple to use, and aesthetically pleasing. Love the gentle beeping notification when it's done, too (and the option to mute that feature!)

Best Dryer I've Ever Owned

This EFMG427-UI replaced a Maytag. That unit served us well for many years, but never did it dry the clothes the way this unit does. Even if I let a load sit in the drum after it has finished its cycle, the amount of wrinkles is significantly less than our other dryer. The one thing that has taken me a little time to get used to is its reducing heat output as it nears the end of the cycle. The clothes don't come out hot. It has a cool down period. But, if you like to remove & fold your clothing one at a time while it's still warm, like I used to do, the Quick cycle fits that bill.

Disappointed.

I was expecting to be thrilled with these machines despite the fact that I don't like the appearance of the white rim around the door. However, I am not impressed. Cannot read the three top settings as they are in blue and barely visible. When I use the 20 minute cycle, it does not take the water out of the clothing and I had to hang outside. I washed something and when it was done, there were soapsuds inside the washer on the door. Dryer shuts off before the clothing is dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I feel awful to learn you are not happy with the design and performance of your dryer.
The Fast Dry Cycle is recommended for your smallest loads. Select this cycle to quickly dry small loads in 20 minutes.
Are you using a low-sudsing, high-efficiency detergent to prevent oversudsing? Try looking for detergents with the “he” symbol.
Did you know? Your dryer is equipped with a Front-Mounted Moisture Sensor. If your sensor detects that most of your items are dry; your dryer will stop.

This dryer doesn’t completely dry the clothes unless I run the timed cycle. It doesn’t get real hot, which i like.
