A little disappointed

It is definitely an upgrade over my old whirlpool dryer. I like the controls and the lint filter helps keep more lint off of the clothes and out of the dryer, much easier to clean. My only issue is that the sensor drying never gets the clothes or towels or anything dry. It always shuts off long before anything is dry. I’m also disappointed that I can’t use the steam function to quickly throw a garment in to freshen and remove wrinkles. The steam is only activated at the end of a cycle and I can’t use it with the timed cycles or 20 min quick dry so it is basically useless to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mixed feelings.

On the plus side, this dryer had amazing capacity. It runs fairly efficiency and has some nice economy features. It runs quietly, too.
On the minus side, it has shut off without drying the load several times. I’m not sure if the sensor is off or if f the load hits the door and triggers a shut off. Also, the start button is very fickle. I often have to touch it 5 or 10 times to get it to respond. The timed dry only has 3 options: 30, 45 or 60 minutes. For a dryer in this price range, that’s ridiculous. I don’t like touch control—you can’t just choose your setting by touching it. You have to scroll through the list for each item. Also pretty disappointing for this price point and at times frustrating since, as I mentioned, the touch sensor is very fickle.
In general, the dryer dries (usually) the way it should and the capacity is awesome. The frustrations are minor but a bit annoying because of the amount we paid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did you know? Your appliance’s control panel is a capacitive touch panel, similar to your smartphone or tablet. The control panel uses the conductive touch of a human finger. Input to resistive touch screens works through pressure resulting in two conductive layers being pressed together, so if your fingers are wet or sticky this may make the controls a bit difficult.
Are you choosing the right cycle for your load?
Drying times vary depending on the size and dampness of the load and fabric type. If the load is too small/large or almost dry, the moisture sensors may not detect enough moisture to continue the cycle and the cycle may end after a few minutes. If this occurs, then select the time dry cycle to dry such loads. Room temperature and humidity, type of installation, and electrical voltage or gas pressure can also affect drying time.

Great Dryer

We bought this dryer as a washer/dryer set for my daughters' bathroom upstairs to avoid any excuses as to why they could not do their laundry. The dryer is very easy to use and the steam comes in quite handy for eliminating wrinkles. I love the towel setting and it will come in handy in the summer cleaning up after beach outings on the Cape.

I wasn't in need of a new dryer when my washer broke which was too expensive to be fixed. When I purchased my Electrolux washer I just had to have the matching dryer and so happy I did! Love how fast it dries my clothes and I I really love the
steam cycles!

I love the larger Cu Ft. for removing the dust & freshening up blankets & bedspreads. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because articles tend to fall out of it & onto the floor because of the design of the drum.
