One Week Review

I've had this dryer for a week after replacing an 18 year old Electrolux dryer that was still working well. The old Electrolux washer failed and we replaced the old set with a new set. The new dryer performs like the old one and does the job well, but the front of the top lid vibrates loudly during a drying cycle. The washer and dryer are stacked, and the dryer lid vibrates with a very loud noise during a wash cycle. I inserted a piece of thick paper between the front of the lid and the front control panel to dampen the noise. Other than that it works well, just like the previous one.

As a basic troubleshooting step, please make sure the stacked washer and dryer are properly leveled and securely installed, and check that the unit is not touching nearby walls or cabinetry. Also, make sure the dryer is properly secured to the washer according to the stacking installation instructions. If the vibration continues, please avoid placing materials between the lid and control panel and have the unit evaluated by a service professional.

Good but

The normal cycle is 70 minutes--that is a long time. My former Electrolux dryer worked more quickly. Also: the shortest time dry is 30 minutes. I usually need 15 minutes.

Electrolux Dryer

We absolutely love our new dryer! It has cut down on drying time significantly and the lint trap is way above and beyond other dryers that we have used in the past. Where has Electrolux been for our entire lives????

Pretty, Affordable, and Works Great!

This dryer looks great, was affordable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It dries clothes well, has plenty of room for larger loads, and is easy to use. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it! Now to get the matching washer.
