Great appliance

I bought both the washer and dryer last month and have loved everything about them! So easy to use and gentle on my clothes. I love how my clothes feel after washing them. I know the life of my clothes are going to last a lot longer now that I am using the electrolux. Also, I received a rebate on my gas bill of $100 which is always a plus! This has been the best buy of the year for me; totally worth it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke twice in first 6 weeks

I bought electrolux because the brand has a great reputation. I was fooled! I managed to dry 2 loads before my dryer stopped working. took 2 weeks to get the control board replaced. ran 1 load and broke again, another week and half in and I'm still waiting on a motor. so after 2.5 months, I have been able to dry 3 loads of clothes and still do not have a working dryer! missing my old Dryer, it may have been ugly, old and inefficient, but at least it worked!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to work OK

Still getting used to this dryer. When I set it to auto dry, you would think the sensors would be able to tell that the clothes are still damp before it shuts off. A few times I have gone to fold the clothes, and the towels are still very damp. So I fish out the lighter items and turn it on again and it runs for another whole cycle. Doesn't seem like it does well with a mixed load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy with my purchase my old pair of washer/dryer was 22 years old and after i started using the Electrolux ones was like going from a VW to a Ferrari.
