Great features and powerful heat chamber

I purchased this dryer a month ago and have used it many times. Love the Eco feature and the auto sense dry. My dry time has significantly increased. The dryer is very powerful so some smaller items like socks or underwear get caught in the opening to the door and sometimes come damp, but I just throw them in with the next load. Only reason for 4 stars is because this does not have the extended tumble, in case I start the dryer when I leave in the AM, it could random spin thru out the day to avoid added wrinkles. But overall I would definitely recommend this dryer to friends, family, neighbors.... Just about anyone

Performance was promising...

I bought this two-three months ago. Love the lint screen. Double mesh is very efficient removing lint. After one month, noticed that the back exhaust screen started to discolor. Looked very much like oxidation or burning. The powder coating burned off (my assumption) and the coating was melted on to my clothes as they dried. I tried to clean off the residue, but now I’m afraid the screen is going to oxidize. I have not had a chance to call for service. It’s too bad. I thought the initial performance was quite good and very quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with dryer and trust the Electrolux name. Have an Electrolux vacuum cleaner that is almost 30 years old and still works like the day I purchased it.

Dryer almost caught on fire after 1 year of use. Grate in the back of the dryer was black.
