I love my Insignia Air Fryer Oven

Since I’ve gotten my oven, I use it at least 4 - 5 times a week. It cooks perfectly, I’ve used the rotisserie and the chicken was fully cooked within an hour!
My husband calls it my Easy Bake oven and it truly is that...easy to use and easy to clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK for some things

Comparable air fryer ovens on Amazon have a rotisserie basket. I wish this one did.
When cooking food on the oven racks, you have to switch the oven racks so food cooks equally. If you use the pre-set timer, the food on the top rack will burn while the food on the lower rack will not cook enough. So - keep an eye on it.
I really love the rotisserie. I've made chicken shawarma on this a few times and it's great. However, it does take a long time to cook and you have to shave off the cooked meat so that the meat inside cooks. No matter what you cook on the rotisserie, you'll need to watch for that.

FIX DOOR ISSUES

If you close the door and the SCREEN STILL BLACK, simply hit the top of the screen to make screen work properly. I didn't hear mine goes *beep* when i plug-in to day, the issue was the Screen cannot recognize if the door is closing or opening. After few efforts, I got angry and hit the top of the screen and it hella work. Hope ya'll make it work too.

Excellent product. Allows you to cook multiple things at the same time. It is best to rotate the trays and turn the food for best results. Food cooks in half the time and it's almost like a real deep fryer but we healthier. Push down on door when closing as it does pick up a bit and won't close if you don't.

Great but not perfect

Love how crispy the air fryer gets my food! Had a few issues though, there's no burner at the bottom as it just blows the hot air from the top. It's supposed to circulate around the whole oven but If there's a second layer beneath, it doesn't get cooked so I have to rotate layers half way through so that's not the most convenient.
Also another time I put toast on the top layer and for whatever reason the hot air suctioned the toast up onto the burner and it got stuck to the burner, started burning my toast!
Also don't like how loud the beeping (and the many beeps) is when food is ready, I have babies I don't want them to wake up due to the beeping!
I got it on a huge sale from best buy, so for what I paid for it, I'm happy, otherwise I wouldn't pay full price for it.

A lot of learning

It’s definitely a huge learning curve. While it does save me time. It doesn’t always cook the food throughly. I think once I learn everything properly then it will be amazing because it definitely saves me time. I like that it can do some many things including roasting a chicken and dehydrating fruit. It’s a good buy for sure. Also easy to clean due to the non stick rack but it gets tricky when cleaning the inside due to the bulky door. It’s like a giant toaster oven.
