Good form factor, bad sound, BT receiver only

Easy to use and nice and compact. The built-in speakers looked pretty wimpy so I didn't expect much out of them. However, one reason I bought this was because it's marketed as having "Bluetooth connectivity", but you have to read very carefully to know that it can only RECEIVE a BT signal to play through those little speakers, which is kind of pointless because I think my phone has a better speaker. What I wanted was to be able to SEND a BT signal to my stereo receiver (which can receive BT) to play on a better sound system. Not the biggest deal I suppose, because I thought I could just connect the unit using RCA cables to the inputs on my receiver. That was the biggest disappointment of all. The sound was hallow and tinny, no bass response whatsoever. I even tried plugging my headset into the headphones jack, but I was surprised to get the same terrible bass-less sound through my headphones. Next time I'll spend more money to buy a proper turntable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My daughter bought this for herself and she loves it it is a nice accent to her room and she is not using it and enjoys playing some old vinyls
