My wife was looking for a personal size thermos for her hot beverages. I remember seeing a recent article in Consumer Reports on thermal containers. Zojirushi was rated hands down the best. It’s true. My wife loves it. Plus such wonderful choice of colors.

California prop 65

I wanted to get a water bottle from a good brand that is not made in China. The quality looks good but there are warnings indicating that the chemicals used in it may cause reproductive harm! California prop 65. How is this acceptable in something that is going to be used to carry drinking water!?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to certain chemicals. Stainless steel products will contain Nickel as it is an important alloying element and these products will bear a proposition 65 warning in California. Please note that the warning does not mean that our products will necessarily cause harm or that they violate any product-safety standards by the FDA. In fact, the California government has clarified that “the fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.”
