Negatives: There is no way to arrange pictures and movies to display in the order I want them. On my old frame I renamed the pictures and had them display in name order. This frame does not have that option. Display sometimes cuts off part of a picture. It is not currently possible to send movies to this frame from the web interface. You can through the apple app but I have movies not on my Apple devices. Positives: Display is clear and I can load a lot of pictures. It will at least handle movies to some degree.
Wouldn't stay connected to wifi, and then when I reached out for help troubleshooting, I kept getting the same canned suggestions that I'd already tried that hadn't worked.
I really enjoy this frame! I bought it and set it up for my Dad. Inviting others to participate was easy, I like that the app is free and there's unlimited storage. You can kinda edit photos, i.e. zoom or turn. I like it so much, I actually want one for myself someday now too!
Aura really nailed it with this. The frame itself is great, but the real magic is in the mobile app. It became immediately clear that there are some family-only social networking features in there. Not only can I make changes to my family's frames remotely, the whole family can see added photos in the app. We can like photos, make comments, etc. I'll be buying the larger wall frame for my house after giving these as gifts: I'm jealous of my family now.
