I purchased a frame for my parents and one for my brother for Christmas. They loved there's so much that I've since gotten one for myself. This frame is great. So easy to set up and send photos to each other's frames. The images is so clear and bright!

This was the best Christmas present I received this year. It’s fun to have the ability to invite family members to upload pictures on my frame. I liked it so much I purchased one as a gift for my parents and they love it as well.

I absolutely love my frame. It arrived before the scheduled date. My children and grandchildren live in a different state than me. This frame allows me to see them everyday and be a part of their everyday lives. I get new pictures regularly from them. So easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For such an expensive frame, features are severely lacking

First, the good: the resolution is fantastic, the frame itself is solid and well-made, and setup is a breeze. But the app lacks some very basic features that one should expect in such an expensive digital frame. First and foremost, there is no way to randomize the order of pictures shown. While supposedly the "smart timing" feature will randomize the photos, it does not... and there is no way to randomize if you want to set a specific time for each photo to be shown. The very first iPod had a shuffle feature. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why they would not include such an option. Who wants to always see their photos in chronological order?Second, the interface for adding photos is extremely clunky. There is no way to zoom in on photos from the overview screen (like in, for instance, the Google Photos app). And once you have started selecting photos in the individual photo view, there is no way to go back to the overview screen without discarding your selections. So you have to then scroll through all your photos individually to select more.Third, the interface between the Aura app and Google Photos is terrible. Once you add Google Photos as a source for images, the Aura app will only show you a small fraction of your photos and your albums (even after giving it now 3 weeks to sync). And there is no discernible rhyme or reason to how it sorts the albums it does decide to show, and no way to resort or search for photos or albums. I finally made a new, dedicated album in Google Photos for photos I wanted to add to the frames... and when it finally showed up in the app over a week later, it was buried way down among some other random albums from years ago. Finally, if you have more than one frame, there is no way to add the same photo to multiple frames. We got one for each set of grandparents, and one for ourselves. It is a real waste of time to have to go into each frame's settings individually, dig through the nonsensically-sorted Google Photos albums in the Aura app to find the same picture again, and then add it to each frame. So, while I have been impressed with how great photos look when displayed on these frames, until they do a lot of work to make the app more user-friendly I cannot in good conscience recommend them, given their price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
