Best grandparent gift

We gave two Aura frames to our son's grandparents, and they continue to be a hit. The frames are a great way for us to share photos of our family with grandparents who live in different states. Excellent quality; easy user experience; worth the investment. Highly recommend!

In Comparison To Amazon Echo Show 8 HD

I purchased my wife the Aura Frame for Christmas. I was pleased with being able to setup the frame as a gift and have it ready to display pictures the very same moment that I configured it to work with our WiFi. My wife also wanted an Amazon Alexa Echo Show 8 HD because of her interest in all the things using Alexa had to offer. I told my wife to use both and decide if we are keeping the Aura since I could purchase two more Echo Show devices for the price of the AURA. After using both products for a month we want to keep both. I have our AURA Frame setting on the Casio Digital Piano in our Dining room and it looks great there. The frame matches the charcoal exterior of the Piano and is a fine addition. We like the App interface and the ability for anyone in the family to send pictures to it from their Apple Devices. We are an iOS family but are going to add additional Amazon Alexa devices. I sent out invitations to all our friends and family to share their pictures on our AURA frame but not one shared a pic. I can see how this feature would be wonderful for a parent or grandparent that wants pictures of the family. We may purchase one for my wife's mother next Christmas. The only issue is the frame would have to maintain the wifi connection so that can be tricky for older parents. The frame is in the Dinning Room along with the router nearby. I tried to use it in our living room but it said weak connection. No other device in the house has that issue. I really think that the Frame needs upgraded with a better wireless antenna or reception system. I also noticed it plays video in addition to just still frames, that was a pleasant surprise. Overall it is nice and has features that other Frames or ways of viewing pictures does not. It is rather expensive but it looks very attractive with great style. Apple products are expensive too! If the company improves the wireless capabilities I sure hope they see my post and replace my frame with an upgraded model. I have used the Echo Show to view pictures and it is fine but will always go back to the home screen after awhile so its not a digital picture frame replacement. I decided to go with four stars because of the wireless signal issue. I know its not my Linksys WRT1900AC Wireless router. I have over 22 devices connected all over the house and wireless RING cameras outside and they all work fine. It is the antenna system or signal reception circuit in the frame limiting distance. AURA Frames please upgrade this and advance exchange our product. Take after RING, if they find an issue they will update the product and replace yours in advance. RING is a Great Company to purchase products from and deal with Customer Service and I hope your company can be just as Great. Amazon Alexa can work with my Ring account and cameras, will display video from any of my devices. Is it possible you can work together with RING and make this a feature of your AURA frames?

Great gift idea

I really like how easy it was to set-up and get started with the Aura frame. I got it for my tech-adverse Dad for his birthday. The app is user-friendly, even for him, and allows me to add photos anywhere anytime, even though my Dad and I live states apart. Honestly, the frame isn't my favorite texture, but the color is nice and the display is great.

My family recently moved out of state so we purchased one for my parents for Christmas. they love it! It’s a great way to enjoy pics of their grandkids all the time!

Purchased for in-laws for holiday gift and they rave about being glued to the screen enjoying seeing their grandchildren grow! Buying a second for parents upon the arrival of their latest grandchild! Can't wait to share with them, too! App is so easy
