Almost perfect product and service with one glaring privacy problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This applies to my other two aura frames that I have purchased. While the product itself runs well the sought after reason for purchasing the product was being able to give it as a gift to family members who we wanted to share photos of our family with— but not give them digital copies of said photos. The next great battle of rights will be over data privacy and Aura does an okay job. What they’ve absolute not done right by any measure is their app. You have this app that functions more like a private instagram than anything. You can invite family members to add photos and control the frame but there isn’t a User Profile Access option. Meaning, if I invite an In-Law, not only can they access the frame and put photos on it, but they can digitally download images that I have added to the frame without my consent. Aura needs to remove the feature of downloading copies of images by all users except the primary admin. Or at the least make it so only each individual user can only download copies of select images they’ve already added. It would also be nice for aura to give the ability to toggle whether we want the meta data of each image copied up to their servers as well. I would prefer every image uploaded is stripped of meta data before being stored on a server. Aside from this glaring problem I consider this product to be exceptional in a field of smart screens owned by Facebook , Amazon, or Google.
