Nice Frame, App needs work

The Frame itself is nice, easy to setup, good quality photos. However, if you have a large photo library, at least with iOS devices, the app really needs some major work. I think that the frame/web interface can handle things o.k. but the app/uploading process is pretty lousy. Customer support has been very nice, but unable to resolve these issues. I'm hopeful that with just app improvements/updates over time these items can be improved.a) Very slow. Try to scroll through thousands of iOS Photos and it just takes a REALLY long time to scroll and see what you have already uploaded/installed.b) If you have an iOS Photo Album created, it may or may not upload. We have an album with around 1500 pictures. Every time we try to upload it, anywhere from 10-30 of the pictures are sent to the frame and then nothing.c) There really needs to either be a computer web page or (Mac) App. Way too tedious to do everything on a tablet/phone when you want to manipulate a lot of photos at once.d) The app doesn't really give you any status on whether photos are still uploading. So you can't really tell what's going on.e) Once uploaded, should be able to create "albums" within the app, so you can toggle on/off groups of photos for example for holidays, special events, etc. to select different albums at different times. f) No way to "shuffle" or otherwise arrange photos. They supposedly have some kind of "smart" feature to detect people in the room and show photos that aren't seen as often, but would like to be able to make truly random because it always groups things by how you happened to upload them.g) The "Auto Positioned" gets things wrong as much as it gets it right for auto cropping. It is nice that app shows you which are auto adjusted and allows for manual fixing, but again, slow and tedious when dealing with large libraries.h) Once photos are added, no real way to see which user added which photo, they're all just clumped together. So if user A wants to remove their photos, or change or whatever, no real way to tell which ones they are - they're all mixed in with all of the other user's photos on the frameI'll mark it as yes for recommended, but at the same time I am *really* hoping that someone is reading this and looking at improvements to the app. It seems optimized for trying to share between multiple users rather than optimized for a family that may have a large photo library that they want to upload and adjust which photos are seen and when.

Great gift for future grandparents!

My siblings and I bought two of these frames as gifts for my parents for Christmas. We have always done a calendar with photos from the year but with my brother having his first kid we needed something more immediate for sharing photos. We were super impressed by the interface. The screen is beautiful and it doesn't feel like a screen due to the frame and the resolution. We also found the app for sharing photos to be relatively user friendly. It has been fun to send photos to my parents and have them ask questions about where I was when I took it. It is nice to have that real time connection. We all liked the frame so much my brothers and I are thinking about getting our own. It is a great way to share the many photos we all take on our phones!

We have gifted three Auras to our family members and they absolutely LOVE them! The set up is super easy, and the idea of seeing new photos of the grandkids as soon as they are taken is the best!

Gift Delivery and App Worked Perfectly

I bought two of these frames for Christmas this year and the gift delivery for both worked beautifully and without a hitch. Once opened, the setup process was a breeze and the preloaded photos from myself and other family members began to cycle.The app is great, packaging and frame quality are top notch, and the clarity is excellent. I’ve already recommended Aura to a number of friends!10/10, would buy again.
