I did extensive research before purchasing the Aura frame for my mother as a Christmas present. My grandma has a Skylight frame that she enjoys, but I felt like the setup of the Skylight frame and app wasn't user friendly, and their add-ons that require in-app purchasing frankly dampen the mood when you go on excited to share new memories with loved ones. The Aura frame is a different experience though! I love everything about the Aura app. My mom is not tech-savy, and I feel like I have a lot of control on my end to make sure the pictures she receives are framed well and I also enjoy seeing all my sibling's uploads (another feature Skylight does not have). Buy this frame and you won't regret it.

Best Gift for Grandmas

I gifted this to my husband's grandmother after we moved four hours away with our two young children. She loves to sit in her chair and watch the slideshow and is so excited when she sees that there are new photos. I chose the Aura frame after looking at Skylight for a long time and when with the Aura because of the durability of the frame. It stands up nicely without needing to be propped up and seems more sturdy. The setup was also very easy and I was able to connect it to her Wi-Fi and get everything ready for her before placing everything back in the box and wrapping it for her to open for Christmas. I highly recommend this product, especially for older loved ones that are not tech-savvy.

This was so easy to invite family members to share their photos and my mom loves getting to see new pictures pop up on her frame from all of her kids and grandkids. Highly recommend this as a gift.

It’s an awesome product. There are a ton of these on the internet but don’t look any further. The hardware is top notch. Very well made. No lag in pictures loading, high quality. It’s the talk of the kitchen all the time. The app and software is awesome as well. Super easy to use. Can share access with family members. 100% love this and will be buying more for other family members. It
