The product was incredibly intuitive and easy for me to set up as a gift giver and for a number of not-tech-savvy receivers to immediately enjoy. The quality of the frame and pictures is also significantly better than what I've seen in similar items. Strong recommend -- I gave 3 of them and plan to give more!

Easy to buy and set up - we gave 2 Masons as gifts. People like them more than expected (including us) - we want one for ourselves now, and plan to give another as a gift. The quality is very good - lovely resolution. Only complaint is that Aura literally has the strictest password requirement I've ever come across (when setting up account), but that's obviously in the consumer's best interest, so a minor annoyance for sure. Overall, we would definitely recommend and plan to buy more.

Great Hardware Hobbled by Limited Upload Options

The Aura frame itself is wonderful-- amazing colors, contrast, resolution, and viewing angles, high quality construction, and a nice overall look. However, there are two critical problems with this system: First, the only way to add photos from Google Drive is to give Aura access to your entire Google Drive account, from which it then proceeds to download EVERY PHOTO. This makes no sense and is an unacceptable invasion of privacy, particularly where Google Drive is set up in such a way as to allow sharing of individual albums or portions thereof. When I saw other reviews that mentioned this, I assumed it was simply user error, and that I could navigate my way around the issue. Despite my background in IT, that was not the case.Second, there is no PC/Mac web interface and the only way to add photos to the frame is via the Aura app on your phone. This makes no sense for photographers who process their photos on a computer before putting them up for display on their Aura frame. The same is true for people who have scanned old photos/negatives for display. As things currently stand, I need to export photos from my computer, upload them to Google Drive, download local copies to my phone using the Google Drive app, then browse through my photos in the Aura app to add them. Why not simply allow users the ability to upload photos from a web browser? This is some low-hanging fruit that would instantly increase the utility of the product.This is a solid piece of hardware that is held back significantly by poor choices on software implementation. Even though my wife and I bought two Aura frames (one for each of our moms), we still cannot wholeheartedly recommend this product to others due to the unnecessary difficulties in adding images.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this for my mom for Mother's Day. The Aura app is easy to use, so the whole family can add pictures at any time. The frame itself looks good, and the picture is bright. We love seeing the Live photos that iPhones can take, as they do move on the frame.
I would recommend this to a friend!
