It makes cooking easier and better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is amazing. It is very well made and seems like a pan a professional chef would use. Cooking in it has been a breeze. It doesn’t stick and the food cooks evenly thanks to the induction bottom. With my other pans, I have to constantly move food around to ensure even cooking. The lid has a small opening to allow steam through, which is great. It is versatile given that if can be used in the oven. My favorite thing about it is the size. It provides me with enough space, width and depth, to cook a lot of one-pan dishes.

I cooked some mini steaks and vegetables. The steaks browned very well. I followed the directions and let the pan heat up first. I can't wait to use it again!!

The best nonstick pan ever!

I have cooked bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, pork chops etc. and nothing sticks to it. It cooks my food perfectly and the clean up is easy. It’s the best pan I have in my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan. It's very well made and absolutely nonstick. It's so easy to clean even the messiest of sticky messes out of it with no fuss. The only problem I have with it is the lid. After the lid starts to heat up a bit from the steam it begins to pop like it's warning me that it's going to crack soon if I don't remove it from the heat. That worries me. It hasn't actually cracked yet but I'm afraid it might. I remove the lid for a bit every time I hear it start to do that popping thing it does. Other than that, this is a remarkable pan.

This pan has saved me so much time. The NeverStick allows food to simply glide off the pan on to your serving platter. The large capacity makes it perfect for making meals for larger gatherings as well. The anti-scratch surface is wonderful in case someone accidentally uses the wrong type of utensil, while the glass lid lets you see what you are cooking. The nesting system allows you to store the lids in any configuration you choose and the pans don't rub each other. If you only have one favorite pan, this has to be it!

Non-stick is excellent, but scratches glass stove

I purchased this unique product because it has non-stick properties but can be used at high temperatures. The non-stick properties seem to work very well and construction seems very good. I have had no issues with scrambled eggs sticking, but I do cook with butter. However, as others have complained, this pan has immediately been destructive to my glass countertop, and it appears that adequate testing was not done. Also, as others have described, the pan seems to take a very long time to heat up, and I have been unable to figure out how to get the temperature I need - medium heat doesn't seem to be hot enough no matter how long the pan is pre-heated. Though I will continue to use this pan because it meets my needs, I can't recommend it for anyone who has a glass stove-top. Also, for the premium price, I would prefer a steam vent built into the lid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is clear that the Ninja Foodi Neverstick cookware is intended to directly compete with other, well known premium cookware brands which share similar construction, physical and cosmetic characteristics.
The construction of the Ninja Foodi NeverStick cookware exudes quality!
The body of the sauté pan is constructed of thick, cast aluminum which is shot textured and anodized. There is a bright, machined aluminum heat dispersion disk bonded to the bottom of the pan which provides an absolutely flat base which does not rock on the stove and is intended to evenly distribute heat at the cooking surface. The pan has both a long handle and a loop style assist handle. The handles are fabricated of solid stainless steel; they are not hollow, molded or rolled handles. The handles are tightly attached to the body of the pan with large rivets that appear to be very secure.
The domed, tempered glass lid has a stainless steel edge band, the seam of which is neatly and precisely finished. The handle of the lid is not the loop style depicted on the website. Rather, it is a large metal button which is attached via a screw and internal disk-washer. The lid fits the pan perfectly.
The pan is heavy; which is a good, desirable characteristic of cast aluminum cookware. The sauté pan weighs 3 pounds, 14.7 ounces. (1779 grams). The glass lid adds 1 pound, 12.8 ounces (818 grams).
The 5 quart size is my preference for a sauté pan. The pan measures 11.75” in diameter, and the straight sides measure 2.5” deep. The long handle is 8” long and in combination with the assist handle opposing it, allows for easy handling of a heavy, filled pan. The handles are both non-insulated metal. The 8” long handle actually remains comfortable most of the time. However, they can get hot and require appropriate, cautious handling.
This line of Ninja Foodi NeverStick Premium Hard Anodized cookware is designed to stack for storage, nesting pots or pans with similar style pieces, with the handles providing the support structure. The lids are stackable by virtue of their large, button style handles which have a flat upper surface to facilitate stacking when inverted.
The pans may also be hung, as the long, heavy-duty handles are drilled at the end for pot hooks.
The non-stick internal coating appears to perform very well, and hopefully will remain effective and durable over the long-term. Most non-stick coatings eventually fail or wear after varying intervals of use and possible abuse. Non-stick cookware should not be exposed to excessively high temperatures, particularly when dry/empty. No pot stays perfect after being burned, but nonstick cookware will almost always suffer permanent damage. Ninja claims that this nonstick coating is PFOA free and is oven and broiler safe up to 500° F. The website claims that “Lid, handles, and nonstick coating are all oven safe up to 500°F”. However the Use & Care Guide which accompanies the cookware in the box states that the lid is oven safe to 400°. Ninja claims that the nonstick coating is safe for use with “all utensils, including metal”. I never use metal utensils with any nonstick cookware and only use silicone, plastic or wood implements to preserve the integrity of the bonded, nonstick coating. Ninja also says that the nonstick cookware is dishwasher safe. My personal experience has convinced me that any nonstick finish will ultimately deteriorate after repeated dishwasher cleaning. The aggressive and caustic nature of dishwashing detergents is a potent threat to the finish and the nonstick coating of any metal cookware. Handwashing with a sponge and dish soap is easy and quick with the excellent non-stick coating of this Ninja NeverStick pan.
The Ninja Foodi sauté pan performs well on the stove. I measured relatively even heating on the bottom surface. Although the machined aluminum disk on the bottom of the pan naturally slows down preheating, it serves the important purpose of assuring even heat distribution and retention of consistent temperature control during cooking, with less risk of burning or uneven cooking. Ninja says the the Ninja Foodi NeverStick cookware is safe for use on all types of stoves, including gas, electric, halogen, induction and ceramic. There is a caution statement pertaining to the potential scratching of glass cooktops which may result from sliding the cookware on the smooth ceramic surface. If I had a glass top range I would certainly heed that warning, as the machined aluminum metal disk on the bottom of the pan certainly appears to have the potential to scratch delicate or softer surfaces. Of course, pans like sauté pans, saucepans, stock pots, etc. are not typically shaken during cooking. Those types of cooking vessels are generally left stationary while the food contents are stirred. However, fry pans and omelet pans are often shaken during cooking, and given the weight and construction of this type of heavy, cast, premium cookware, I would not use even those pans in that manner on a smooth, ceramic/glass top stove.
Cleanup was perfectly easy. The nonstick surface meets expectations and cleans easily with a sponge and dish soap, with very little effort and no need for difficult scrubbing. After washing and drying, the interior and exterior of the pan, inclusive of the nonstick coating, still appear as if brand new.
The Ninja Foodi NeverStick cookware, inclusive of the nonstick surface has a “lifetime” limited warranty, however lifetime is defined as five years. Using the five year warranty entails a return shipping charge to the customer, as listed on the website.
The only issue that I discerned with the 5 quart sauté pan is that the interior bottom surface is not perfectly flat. It is convex, and slightly elevated at the center (or depressed at the perimeter). This means that liquids, including cooking oil or other melted fats, when used in small volumes, such as when browning or searing foods, will pool around the perimeter while the center of the pan is devoid of oil/liquid. This is an issue when shallow frying. This does not present a significant problem when browning or searing, and is certainly a non-issue when braising (since more liquid volume is used). However, if this pan was a crepe pan, or griddle pan the lack of a perfectly flat bottom would be a critical problem. This might be a casting defect or perhaps this deformation occurs when the machined aluminum disk is fused to the cast aluminum bottom (which appears thinner / recessed where it is cast to receive the disk), or perhaps it is caused by something else. It was surprising to discover this issue on such high quality, premium cookware.
Overall, the Ninja™ Foodi™ NeverStick™ Premium Hard-Anodized 5-Quart Sauté Pan with Glass Lid is very nice. It is apparently well designed and constructed and appears to be robust. I hope that it will also be very durable for the long-term. I have every expectation that this sauté pan will serve me well for a very long time. It is performing very well now, and certainly meets or exceeds expectations.

Non stick!

Food does not stick and wash up is super easy. We use metal spatulas and we have yet to notice any knicks or scratches on the surface. Washes safely in dishwasher
