I have purchased several other products of which I am more than just satisfied. This review is meant as a word of caution regarding your anticipated workspace size. My particular office desk size, depth front to back, made the field of vision/work out of use when clamped from the center back. The lamp is not flexible or usable when clamped on the side. I will purchase a non clamping desk lamp to meet my need.

Bought this for ony puzzle table. No matter what setting it caused a glare and made my eyes tired. Gave to husband for his office. He liked it but barely lasted two years before quit working. Bulb not replaceable. Waste of money. Love Ott lites but stick to ones with replaceable bulbs. I have had 3 others that have lasted for years and love them

I only marked this lamp down to 4 stars because the instructions tell you to determine which way you want the lamp to face but fail to give the simple instruction to just bend the neck to change its orientation.
I would also prefer five color choices rather than the three this lamp has.

Needs to be a tiny bit taller in the neck

Love the ability to change tones in the lighting. HOWEVER...have two monitors on my glass desktop and this BARELY SQUEAKS over the top of the monitor, actually touches the top of it and I can't get enough flexion in it to prevent glare in my eyes. I suppose I could McGyver a solution, like a block between the base of the unit and the clamping mechanism under to get additional height but would prefer if this had a bit more length in the neck so I wouldn't have to just "like" this lamp instead of "love" it.

I was getting daily headaches from my two older smaller lights. This particular lamp is a Gods send to me. I craft 4-6 hours a day. No headaches since I installed this lamp in my craft room.
