Great exercise bike for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My five year old loves the Pelican explore & fit cycle. It took me 45 minutes to assemble with the assistance of an eager child. The cycle seems to be built well and strong. It is a mini version of an adult cycle and that makes him love it even more. With adding his iPad to the given stand and using the app provided he can take off on many adventures. I love that this encourages his imagination while showing the fun of cycling. I would recommend this be an addition on any home gym that has children that visit. We parked the cycle beside our adult stationary bike and we can both cycle at the same time.

Exercise Bike for Kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent and early childhood educator, I understand the importance of exercise and development of gross motor skills in young children. Daily outdoor play is of most importance, but there are days when the weather doesn't corporate, or the children have sudden bursts of energy that they need to work out.
The Little Tikes Pelican Explore & Fit Cycle is one of the coolest things I've seen for children, to bring large motor play indoors. Besides having fun exercising, children can learn as they ride. It’s like a cycling class for kids.
They have free YouTube trainer adventure videos that they can view to motivate and learn as they pedal
Some of the videos feature dirt road, mountain bike, snowboard and a roller coaster. Adult "trainers" motivate and encourage the children along the way.
They encourage the child to announce a letter, number, or shape as they pop up along the path. My only suggestion is that I wish the "personal trainers" would say each letter, number, and shape and not just random ones.
There is a mount on the handlebars which can hold a smart device to view the free videos, or they can be streamed on a smart tv in the room.
It also has built in Bluetooth speakers from which your can play your own music.
My children will ride for thirty to forty-five minutes at a time, until I remind them to share.
You can also skip the videos and music and listen to the sound effects buttons as well. So many fun options!
The bike is stabilized and streamlined so it doesn't take up as much space as I had feared. There are springs in the seat area so the child can turn and lean slightly to get the full riding effect.
The instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long to assemble the bike.

Motivate kids to exercise!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four years old kids who love to race and he always feels boring when I do my exercise. this is one of the good way to keep them busy and helps to improve their lifestyle by doing the good habits. It has different way to engage kids by interactive applications and trainer program. It also has the Bluetooth speaker that allows them to play their favorite music and motivate them. It is very easy to assemble that my son did most of the part for this. He loves riding the mountain bike and he feels adventures.
Overall, it is good product that helps parents and kids to motivate them for them for exercise. I would defiantly suggest it to others.

So fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (and all of their friends that come to play) love this bike! We have it set up next to our peloton bike and they feel like they are working out with us. The videos to ride along with are super fun. I like that it integrates actual environments vs all animated. They also are educational in that they ride while passing along the ABCs. We haven’t had it too long, but it seems well built and VTech has a solid reputation. This keeps kids moving on a rainy day which is always a plus. A good unique toy that would be a cool addition to any kid’s house.

Difficult to assemble . Damaged in box. Is there no app for the bike ? Just YouTube videos to follow which means it’s not interactive . This was not a good invention Little Tikes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun way to exercise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, kids liked it for a while. Great for rainy days when they can't play outside. A fun way to exercise. Everything that you need is in the box except a screwdriver. Though no extras if you lose a piece.

Fun Exercise Bike for Kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my 5 & 7 year old boys love this bike! They have such a blast exercising. It is great to see them have so much fun while exercising. We have used the YouTube videos provided by Little Tikes that go along with this bike and it's a hit at our house. They love racing along with the video. It also has Bluetooth connection so they can listen to music while on it. It is easy to set up the Bluetooth. I do wish the speakers were a little bit louder because if I'm using the adult exercise machines; my boys can't hear it over my exercise machine. There is also a stand that holds their tablet up and seems pretty sturdy. Their tablets stay in place while in it. My boys can watch YouTube/TV show on their tablet while exercising. For the most part it was easy to put together. The only difficulty I can across was snapping the base covers on. It took me a while but I eventually go them the base covers on. This is a perfect exercise bikes for kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!
