Errors and more errors

Overall, it's a decent set, albeit a bit awkward. The doorway pieces make the set look unfinished and doesn't match the prior castle sets. Errors in the instructions, wrong labels. Instructions changes from reading across to reading down and then across, rather frustrating at times. And if you compare the build-using the instructions-part of the build is in reverse to the image on the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Many Flaws in the Build

I found just too many flaws in the build. Pieces were annoying because most were the same color. Inconsistencies with dining hall area. Amongst other things. You might want to hire me to trouble shoot some of these sets. I got this originally to create the 3 piece set in the back of one of the instruction books.

look lego, you broke my poor son's heart. he recently turned 11 and we got him a lego set for harry potter. piece number 6164073 and 4211436 were missing. he cried a lot. as long as he lives, he will never touch another lego brick.
