[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 7 and loves all things Nerf. This toy was a huge hit with him. Works well. Design is perfect. Construction is sturdy. Highly suggest for anyone looking to add character pieces to their Nerf collection.

You Get 1 Shot… at a time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to open this new toy, so there were somewhat high expectations.
Pros:
- he loved the handle & that there was a strap. He’s 6, so the strap greatly helps.
- another pro is that the nerf bullets were very soft! We have many more nerf products, and neither him nor I mind getting blasted !
- material feels durable and not flimsy at all
Cons:
- the one con about the whole toy, you can only seem to load 1 Nerf bullet at a time. Kinda disappointing because you must stop your fun to fill in another one.
Overall entertaining toy.

Great toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 & 4 year old sons both love this toy! It fits easily on their arms & is easy for them to shot. It works with the nerf bullets that come with it & with any other standard nerf bullet. They love that it looks like they are Spider Man & shooting from their hand! This is definitely a great buy for any spider man or nerf gun fan!

Action packed, if used properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are plenty of things to like about this Marvel Spider-Man Web Bolt Blaster, but there are also a few aspect that could be improved.
With proper use, supervision, and following the recommended safety measures, this is a fun action-filled toy.
The first impression I had was the minimalistic amount of packaging. It came in a simple, open-front cardboard box. There was no plastic whatsoever, which was nice to see. There were a few simple twist ties that needed to be undone to remove the contents from the box.
There are directions included that are fairly simple and straightforward, with plenty of helpful graphics on how to operate it. One thing that is omitted in the directions, however, is how to use the wrist strap - more on that in a bit.
The blaster is easy to operate. My five year old quickly learned how to load the darts and was plenty strong enough to pull back the lever. We also have a four year old that was able to pull the lever back but did struggle a bit. The button to shoot the dart is on top of the blaster. It is easy to push but you’ll have to use your other hand to do it. There is no way to shoot the dart using the same hand that the blaster is in.
Three foam darts are included and they shoot at a pretty good speed. They will also shoot well over 20 feet. My kids shot the darts all around the house and they didn’t leave any marks or cause any damage to wall, appliances, ceilings, etc. If shot at a person (which is not recommended) it can hurt a bit, especially if it’s in the face. There is a recommendation on the front of the box that you wear safety glasses when playing with the blaster and I definitely second that. There are some precautions that definitely need to be taken when playing with this.
They darts themselves do take a beating after a while, becoming bent and causing them to not shoot as straight. The darts are also very easy to lose behind chairs, couches, on top of cupboard, etc. We found ourselves constantly searching for them and retrieving them from awkward places. Be prepared to search every square inch of your home - or play outside.
Now back to wrist strap that’s included. Again, there was no mention of the strap in the directions. You are left to figure out how to attach it to the blaster, how to adjust it, and how to secure it around your wrist. This was a headache. Even after figuring it out, it was bulky and clumsy to adjust to the different size wrists of the people who were using it. Often times, the kids didn’t even use the strap. I also think the strap should come already attached to the blaster, and it should be Velcro. This would allow for quicker and easier adjusting, not to mention a more comfortable fit.
Another improvement that could be made is to the darts. I wish they darts were a bit sturdier, with less bending and folding of the foam. I would also like to see more than 3 darts included. These darts are easy to lose and will also get beat up quickly. Including 5 or more darts would have been nice.
While this is a nice toy, it’s important to note that it’s not for every child, or family. The darts could be harmful to other people if not used properly. It should be used with supervision, especially with younger kids in the house. With proper safety measures and responsible use, however, it can be a fun action-filled toy for children.

From a mom, it's better than silly string
on September 13, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid loves Spiderman, and I have looked at the gloves that shoot silly string from them and it just can't get myself to buy them because of the clean up. I have enough to clean everyday with 3-4 meals for a family of 4, a house with 3 full baths, 2 constantly shedding fur babies, the kids' school and sport uniforms, and my husband's formal work attire. Not to mention I would always have to be running to the store to pickup refills of silly string. That stuff can't be good for the environment. So now that they have this alternative, I was very happy... and so was my kid.
It comes with 3 Nerf darts and the arm gun. The gun is actually easily to cock that most Nerf toys. One of my kids is a skinny six year old and she can cock this no problem. She was also the one that discovered you can store the extra 2 darts underneath, on the armrest.

Super-man & nerf come together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves spider-man & all things nerf, this was a perfect fit for him. He strapped it to his arm & was firing off the darts not even needing help to figure it out. His darts from another nerf toy also happened to fit in this so he was excited about that.
Nice toy for your boys or girls who love spider-man & nerf guns; best of both worlds.

Built Sturdy and Strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the New Spiderman Blaster Nerf Gun and I got to say the design of it is solid and looks like it's made to last. However the Button Trigger makes it hard to push for a smaller child like my 5 year old, it takes 2 hands to operate so it's an easy way for them to get there fingers pinched. Which again my 5 year old had happen to her after shooting it for the second time. The strap that goes around your arm was a little small and difficult to put on since it was not mentioned in the instructions, other than that this gun is very nice and its very cool the neat design will make the kids think they are something! I would say the age should be for a 7 or 8 year old and up then they will be strong enough to push the button with 1 finger
