Good game based off monopoly

The board has some similarities to monopoly but the game plays a little different with only one dice and has four characters from animal crossings video game. Anyone who likes the animal crossings game will like this. My kids found it just ok. Overall I would recommend to animal crossings fans.

Not the best Monopoly game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to play after receiving the Monopoly Animal Crossing game. After set up I didn't want to play anymore. There are alot of small cardboard pieces that you pop out for set up. You have to place them all in front of the islands. This makes it hard when trying to move your player around the board. Things just falling over. Getting mixed up. You have to really read the directions to figure out who discovered the island and how many things to pick up if you land on yours or someone else's island. The players are cute. It just takes to much time and can get all mixed up to even play.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's super simple to set up and get the game going. I even joined in on the fun with them. We enjoy using playing Monopoly every night.

A new way to play monopoly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are huge Animal Crossing fans and this new Monopoly Animal Crossing game is perfect for them. It is completely different than your typical monopoly game and in my opinion it's pretty fun for all ages. Everything in it is straight from the video game you have to collect nook miles, character skills, you collect bells and resources. The person with the most nook miles at the end wins. We enjoy board game night in my home and this one has quickly become a favorite for all of us.

Fun Family Game

We are aware of what animal crossing is but it's not necessary to play, just enhances the game experience. The art work and game style was cute and familiar. The instructions were clear and helps new players well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was excited to introduce Monopoly to our family since our kids are at Monopoly age (11 &14) and thought this would be a great start and a way to bridge the gap from something they know to something, us as parents, loved to play.
It is played somewhat different with alot of different pieces and cardboard PCs. We played with another adult as well and each one of us highly disliked the game play.... however, the kids enjoyed it so it might be fun for many kids to play or for some family game nights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is obsessed with anything Animal Crossings right now. And when I saw this Monopoly game I couldn't pass it up. It is so identical to the Nintendo game Animal Crossing. My daughter knew almost immediately who the characters were already and from playing the original monopoly game she knew what to do! It is a cute and fun game if you have the patience for it. Very fun and age appropriate for all ages
