It is so different.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am going to start out by saying that there are not the same number of spaces as a regular monopoly board. Quite a few rounds into the game I realized it. This game seemed to go back and forth so drastically. I’d be broke than my daughter would. Neither one of us ever made a lot of money. We did the cash checking a few times but it almost seemed pointless and annoying. Nothing exciting to it. I did like some of the chance and community chest cards. The pieces are super cute also. I’d just rather stick to the regular monopoly and so would my 10 year old. I was hoping it would be a lot of fun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Crooked Twist to the Original Monopoly!

This twist of an iconic board game gives players Mr. Monopoly’s decoder so they can find the fakes and still make a fortune. It's an exciting game filled with truth, lies, and hidden reveals. This family board game is a great choice for game night and for kids eight and up. Monopoly is designed to test not only individuals decision making skills, but helps to boost memory formation and cognitive skills. Monopoly Crooked Cash includes chance cards, a plastic decoder, community chest cards, hotels, decoder chips, dice, and lots of fake or real cash. Buy, spend, and move fast with the ultimate Monopoly game.

Monopoly with a twist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a surprisingly well twist on the usual Monopoly game. In my opinion this version is better than the original one. It’s a fun game for all ages and will definitely make a great family night game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my son is a Monopoly collectors this game was a must have for his collection. I like the different tokens available for this version; there is a dog with a deerstalker hat (adorable), T-Rex with a top hat, a duck wearing a business suit and has a briefcase, a penguin that sells contraband, a 2-D race car, and a cat with a magnifying glass. This version only had hotels and no houses. The goal is to challenge a player to find fake chance cards or fake cash to make winning the game harder on your opponents. Each player has two decoder chips that get repurposed every time the player passes go. This version does not come with dollar bills .... That is a plus! The magnifying glass (circle) is bigger than the area on a bill or chance card. I think they should be similar in size. To determine if it is real or fake, the player must align the magnifying glass over decoder circle. The magnifying glass must be placed firmly on top of the cash or chance card. The player must adjust the magnifying glass toward the right, left, up, or down to visibly see the Monopoly face to determine if it's real or fake. Regular monopoly guy means it is real, and a fake will have a monopoly face with a mask. It becomes tedious when trying to determine a real or a fake. It's a fun concept, but it should be less time consuming when trying to determine real from the fake. This version does not come with a cash tray. I may old fashioned, but I like having a cash tray for the banker's money. My kids enjoyed the game more than I did ... I get frustrated trying to align the magnifying glass properly to determine fake or real.

My children loves playing this version the best. The new features of this game was awesome.We used to have game night once a month now we have it once a week.

Real or fake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much fun but yet a bit different my friends came over and we had a ball for game night since this was everyone first time it was a bit confusing but we enjoyed the thrill of this game for sure especially trying to see if the Cash is real or fake

Fun for the family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this couple weeks ago It's a fun game took some time to figure it out, but we did. my entire family from 8 to 45 has a blast playing and we look forward to game nights this throws fun twist to the mix.

You can also check the chance cards because some of those are fake as well. We had a blast playing this version of monopoly!
