Easy clean install. Seems to provide enough power to the device where I will not have to remove and charge. Would buy again if needed. If anything changes in a few months this review will be updated.
The solar panel works - I no longer have to charge my camera. However, as a total solution (Camera + Solar Pannel) I am not happy. If camera is hard wired, it allows for full 24/7 recording. If camera is on batter, and as i have now learned battery + solar, it still only does events. The delay on events is significant and end up missing a lot. As a result i would say this is a good solution for those not wanting to charge the camera, but if possible still better off plugging the camera into power source.
Easy to install - took about 10 minutes - and so far seems to keep my Google Nest Cam (battery) charged. I tried a generic solar panel before ordering the Wasserstein, however the generic panels do not have the connector required to let the camera know it's connected to solar, and so the camera thinks it's connected to constant power, streams 24 / 7, and drains the camera's battery in about 2 days. Not so the Wasserstein - it has the half circle connector pattern (as opposed to the straight line connectors that come with the camera), and the Google Home app correctly shows "solar", not "plugged in".
I didn't want to mess around with taking the security cameras down every 3 months to charge them, particularly because I also installed the anti-theft mounts. These solar panels are the perfect, low-maintenance solution.
