Love it but it broke quickly

I really really love my quesadilla maker. I still use it even though it is falling apart (probably not the best idea, admittedly). It makes quesadillas super fast and easy. Unfortunately, like I said, it's falling apart. The handle broke within the first couple of uses and the electrical cord isn't very long at all. My counter space is limited where I have plugs and I would love to have a longer cord.
I am going to be replacing mine shortly because of the broken handle (I can't latch the lid nor can I lift it up without the use of a towel or oven mit) and I think I'm going to see if I can't find something that is a little better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thought it was great while it worked but I only used this 3 times and the latch fell apart .... Not impressed
Will see if I can get a replacement latch because I do like this grill if I can get a new latch.

It Sucks

I bought this item a month ago because my family likes cheese and chicken quesadillas, so I thought this would be a good product.Well tonight I used it for the third time to make dinner and every time I closed it, pieces of it broke off. the black latch is only hanging on by one side and not the red pieces attached to the latch are starting to break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Handle Replacement

I bought a George Forman Quesadilla Maker last year and have used it only a handful of times. Very disappointed that the handle has broken and we can no longer lock it when cooking. I do like the deeper sections but quite displeased the lock has broken. Can you send me a replacement part?

Great but could be better

I have had my quesidilla maker for a couple of years but have used it only a handful of times. The latch started cracking after only using it 3 or 4 times. I was careful with it making sure not to completely break it off, but it did happen this week. The way the latch is made, doesn't leave any room for error at all. It is tough to latch and you need to press down pretty hard on the grill to close it. Oh and about that....potholder is definitely needed as the grill is hot even in spots where you need to touch it just to close it. The product works great, but I feel the design could be better!
I would recommend this to a friend!

On second use the latch broke and a piece fell into the quesadilla, glad I did not break a tooth. Can you remedy this problem please because I will use this a lot if working properly.

Like many others my latch broke :-(

We've loved this for the 9 months we've had it but even with using it about once a week the latch broke and now it doesn't cook evenly if you have more than cheese in the quesadilla.

I just received this unit two days ago and it was great first use. On the second try the handle broke and it doesn’t lock in anymore. Disappointed in quality.
